Yummy finds in the Bay

Pizzetta 211

I heard about this amazingly yummy Pizzaria in the city, outer richmond, and had to go try it out. It's a really charming, semi hole in the wall, pizza place. Really small, friendly atmosphere and super good pizza. Definitely will go back!


Miette Cakes

Ok ~ Seriously blissful! Miette has, hands down, the best little macaroons on the planet! I saw these little delightful things in Paris(oh la la) but didn't try them, don't ask me why not!! Anyway, I've now tried them and they are deliciously addictive, even at $1.75 a pop!



Jack London Square Farmer's Market
One of my favorite weekend rituals is to head over to Jack London Square on Sunday mornings. You can find, among many other things, the freshest, cheapest, prettiest flowers. This weekend I indulged in some happy gerbera daisies and some yummy strawberry jam!

Rainy Day Weekend

Although I prefer the sunshine and warm weather of spring and summer, stormy winter weekends can be great too! For me, especially this weekend, it is an excuse to nest at home. Stay in your pjs all day, watch movies, bake cookies, get cozy with a blanket and a good book, snuggle with the one you love(working on that part!!), sounds fantastic right?

Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.

I saw this quote and wanted to share it because I think it rings true. This year my new year's resolution will be to ignore that negative little voice in my head that says if only. If only I was skinnier, if only I was funnier, if only I didn't have my dad's chin(lol), if only I was more than I am now I would be whole. I am the way I am, and you are the way you are, and that is beautiful!

Where in the world to go....

I've been giving a lot of thought as to where I want to plan my next trip. Going to Paris this last spring was an amazing experience and I have to say that I'm eager to go somewhere far away and new(to me) again. The problem I'm having is narrowing it down!! Portugal, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Prague, London, Greece...there are so many places I want to go, I just can't pick one. If anyone out there has any suggestions, let me know!
